Think about the tone you wish to set (serious? humorous?). By sticking your purpose and setting the tone, your readers will know what to expect and you will be better prepared to deliver what your readers want.

How to write the perfect blog post. One area where bloggers often miss the mark is on length. Your blog post should be short and sweet. Most readers will be turned off when presented with a lengthy blog post and will simply not read it. Try to keep your blog post at a readable length. Your goal is to keep readers on your site and wanting to come back daily to read your new posts.
